Niners WR Deebo Samuel indicated today he would welcome a trade to the Cowboys. But should the team entertain the notion? Doing so would sacrifice draft and financial capital in a year with a deep WR class. Samuel told an ESPN reporter Wednesday morning that he wants to be traded out of San Francisco. According to NFL Media, the first-team All-Pro selection notified the 49ers of his trade request more than a week ago. Samuel’s confirmed Twitter account then became active, which is when the Cowboys entered the conversation. His account “liked” both aforementioned reports and an image that a Cowboys fan tweeted of Samuel wearing a Cowboys jersey, playing beside wide receiver CeeDee Lamb.
