The Dallas Cowboys Brings In Ron Leary For A Cup Of Coffee + Antony Brown Is Heading To (IR)

It’s no secret that in Week 2 of the NFL season, the Cowboys are in need of some help on the offensive line. And it looks like they’re trying to find some. Free-agent guard Ronald Leary is in town visiting the Cowboys for a workout, according to the NFL’s transaction report. Leary spent five seasons in Dallas from 2012-16, starting 47 of the 48 games he appeared in. He spent the last three seasons in Denver, where he started all 29 games he appeared in. Dallas has been dealing with some injuries on the offensive line heading into its Week 2 matchup vs. Atlanta. Starting left tackle Tyron Smith (neck) is a game-time decision with a health issue that occurred during Thursday’s practice. The Cowboys already are missing swing tackle Cam Erving (knee) and currently start rookie Terence Steele at right tackle.
