Dallas Cowboys Jourdan Lewis Is Back | Randy Gregory Is Practicing & Sean Lee Is Out Even Longer...

The Dallas Cowboys injury report is looking good, really good, but that’s a bunch of fool’s gold. The team only has one name appearing on the report, but that’s because the injuries the team is working through are severe enough to have those players placed on the three-week minimum injured reserve list. The only name still on there does have some good news attached though, as cornerback Jourdan Lewis was a full participant in practice on Wednesday, indicating the Cowboys should have their full complement of defensive backs to take on Julio Jones and the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Falcons have a bit of stress as left tackle Jake Matthews was not practicing with a knee issue Cowboys LB Sean Lee underwent surgery, out through mid-October .The Dallas Cowboys’ injury woes continue today with the announcement that veteran linebacker Sean Lee is expected to be out six weeks after undergoing hernia surgery last week with a specialist in Philadelphia. Lee, already on the Cowboys injured reserved list, is now expected to be back in the middle of October. The Cowboys already have found themselves quite thin at the linebacker position following their Week 1 loss to the Rams. Within the first half of football, the team lost starting linebacker Leighton Vander Esch to a broken collar bone. Vander Esch was placed on IR and the team expects him to be back at some point later in 2020.
