Dallas Cowboys Roster Cuts Are Happening; Nevertheless, Don't Forget about the CORE Players!!!

It’s that time of the year in the NFL. The Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday began making roster moves as their reduction from 80 players to 53 for the final roster got underway. Sources told The Dallas Morning News’ Michael Gehlken and Calvin Watkins that wide receiver Devin Smith and quarterback Clayton Thorson were among the first players waived. Offensive lineman Adam Redmond has also been cut, a source said. Teams have until 3 p.m. CT Saturday to finalize their 53-man rosters for the regular season. The Cowboys are scheduled to open the season against the Los Angeles Rams at 7:20 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, at the new SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.
