Both are physical and moving well, especially Williams after undergoing ACL surgery. “He’s doing a heck of a job just really coming off the injury,” Mike McCarthy said of Williams. — La’el Collins (conditioning), Cam Erving (non-COVID-19 medical issue), Tyron Smith (hamstring), Sean Lee (undetermined) and Lewis (ankle) missed practice. — With three offensive tackles out, Brandon Knight and Terence Steele saw time at right tackle with Wyatt Miller and Mitch Hyatt getting snaps at left tackle. Cowboys continue to mix and match their reserve tackles to get through practices until their projected starters return. — Noah Brown and Wilson are getting plenty of chances to make the roster as the No. 4 and No. 5 wide receiver and not necessarily in that order. Wilson made a tough contested catch on Worley and Brown got open for several completions, too. Jon’vea Johnson and Ventell Bryant are also making impressions. — Bradlee Anae, the 2020 fifth-round pick, had a sack on Andy Dalton toward the end of practice. He’s making a push to make the 53 on a crowded field at defensive line. — Defensive tackle Dontari Poe got some work in individual drills but Trysten Hill and Antwaun Woods continue to get more snaps in team drills.
