His sack total then dropped from 10 1/2 to five. Never mind that he faced persistent double teams and was still highly disruptive against the pass and run. A string of two straight Pro Bowls dropped. He went from No. 45 on the NFL Network’s top 100 player poll to absent. Such honors are not synonymous with performance.
