REPORT: COWBOYS TO USE EXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE TAG ON DAK PRESCOTT, PAY HIM $31.6 MILLION The Dallas Cowboys are running out of time to sign Pro Bowl quarterback Dak Prescott to a contract extension ahead of Monday’s franchise tag deadline. Conversations just recently picked up between the two sides after being dormant for the entire 2019 NFL season. Now according to this report from David Moore of Dallas News, the Cowboys are set to use the exclusive franchise tag on Prescott. If signed, it will pay the signal caller $31.6 million for the 2020 season.
